3M 8417 Tape is a self-wound (linerless) transparent polyester film coated with #100 “Hi-Temperature” Acrylic Adhesive. It is often used as an overlaminate in conjunction with 3M 8418 Tape for identification and marking applications in the Aerospace Industry.When used together, 3M 8417 and 8418 Tapes pass all requirements for Federal Specification L-T-100B, Amendment 1 for non-corrosive, heat, cold and solvent-resistant identification tape.
