Who We Are
Plustar, Inc. was founded in 1978. Our company began as a distributor of pressure sensitive tapes, representing nearly every major manufacturer of tape.
As we have grown into labels, packaging supplies and packaging related equipment, our goal is still to earn business by helping customers to reduce costs related to the products that we provide to them.
As Plustar evolved and committed to an even higher level of inventory support, we developed converting capabilities that allow us to provide more products to our customers with shorter lead times. Our array of converting capabilities allows us to slit, rewind, print, die-cut and laminate tapes, labels and related products. In many cases, we also use these resources to solve unique application problems for which there was previously no product available.
In addition to the expansion of our product lines and our processing equipment, we have also made significant commitments to the development and welfare of our employees. Half of them have been with us for over ten years, and quite a few have been with us for over twenty years. This experience is an invaluable asset when customers need help with difficult situations, because there are usually one or two people who have seen the same problem before and who know how to resolve it.

Plustar is celebrating over 30 years in business! Plustar was founded in September of 1978 as Tapeco of Texas. Our original focus was to provide solutions to you for tape application problems. After 30 years, that hasn't changed!
